It’s inevitable — those horrid extra pounds we tend to put on over the holidays. It’s so hard not to what with all the holiday parties, yummy cookies and candy at the office, drinks with friends after work.
Then we’re left with that dreaded New Year’s Resolution — lose weight! (again.)

Exercise workouts are something I still do not look forward to. I can tell myself “exercise” is not a 4-letter word, that it will help me look great and stay healthy but I still have a hard time “psyching” myself up to workout.
One easy way I’ve found to stay in shape is to fit in a few seemingly “effortless” exercise workouts
throughout my day. I do this mostly by incorporating stretching exercises into my daily routine. After all, have you noticed how lean and fit a gymnast is? Even thought they do a variety of exericses for cardiovascular benefits, a lot of their fitness comes from stretching. continue reading »
